Pro-Life

MIT Pro-Life students argue for Pro-Life candidates-along with Princeton, Stanford, Yale, Harvard, etc etc.

A Letter to the NEA from Pro-Life Teachers-"As a pro-life teacher, I can say this illustrates why I am no longer a member of the NEA. The NEA should not be involved in this issue; here they are hosting this controversial abortionist and his slideshow of babies he has aborted. There is no way any of my money will ever be used to advance the radical pro-abortion agenda of Planned Parenthood and the NEA,” said Marla Mercer, a West Virginia teacher and former member of the National Education Association."

A Letter to the NEA from Pro-Life Teachers-"As pro-life teachers, we oppose the National Education Association’s (NEA) actions in allowing the Feminist Majority Foundation to hold their Women’s Leadership Conference at the NEA Headquarters Building in Washington, D.C. on March 8-9, 2008. It is not only outrageous that the NEA allowed this pro-abortion organization to hold a conference advancing barbaric ideals, but it is even more outrageous that NEA allowed Dr. George Tiller, infamous late-term abortionist from Wichita, Kansas, on its premises. Dr. Tiller currently faces 19 criminal charges for illegal, late-term abortions in the state of Kansas."-Watch the below 6 minute secretly recorded interview to find out who this late term abortionist is going to vote for? Believe it or not it's not Obama nor McCain but rather the.....

Drug discounts -- for Planned Parenthood?- "Planned Parenthood's own records, [in its] annual report last year, showed that they received $336.7-million from government money alone," Hahnenburg points out. "Why does this organization need anymore of our tax dollars?" she asks. "It makes no sense. They're out to kill our babies and sexualize our young people. This organization must be stopped. They should not be receiving any of our dollars." Planned Parenthood, a non-profit organization, makes a profit each year. Hahnenburgh says the bill adds further injury, because the pro-abortion group currently buys birth-control pills for $2 for a month's supply, and sells them for $18 to $30."

Obama vs McCain

McCain, Obama Differ on Approach to Judicial Nominees-"McCain wants to appoint judges who hold a constructionist interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, according to his campaign's Web site."When applying the law, the role of judges is not to impose their own view as to the best policy choices for society but to faithfully and accurately determine the policy choices already made by the people and embodied in the law," McCain said. "The judicial role is necessarily limited and one that requires restraint and humility."The McCain Web site offers the promise that his "judicial appointees will understand that the federal government was intended to have limited scope, and that federal courts must respect the proper role of local and state governments."....Obama, meanwhile, has said he wants to appoint judges who have "empathy." "We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom," Obama told a Planned Parenthood conference in Washington, D.C., in 2007 "The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old. And that's the criteria by which I'm going to be selecting my judges." McCain supported Supreme Court nominees John G. Roberts, Jr., and Samuel Alito, Jr., to become chief justice of the United States and associate justice, respectively. McCain voted to confirm both men, whom he said were "strict constructionists." Obama voted against both."-For more on the empathy and heart of Obama on the Pro-life issue click on

"Punished with a Baby" video-"Senator Obama...made this statement speculating if one of his two young daughters became pregnant. He said, "But if they made a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."

Pro-Life Pharmacies?

Good News: New Pharmacies Protect Life-"Pro-life pharmacies are opening across the country to protect the religious beliefs of their pharmacists, The Washington Post reported. The pharmacies choose not to stock certain contraceptives. Some also refuse to sell tobacco and pornography. "This allows a pharmacist who does not wish to be involved in stopping a human life in any way to practice in a way that feels comfortable," Karen Brauer, president of Pharmacists for Life, told The Post. The new drugstores come in response to a growing number of lawsuits against pharmacists who refuse to fill prescriptions for the morning-after pill, birth-control pills and other forms of contraception."

American Medical Association Considers Policy to Restrict Pharmacists' Rights-"Dr. David Stevens, executive director of the Christian Medical Association, called the proposal hypocritical and elitist. “Hypocritical, because they say very clearly in their own documents that physicians have a right of conscience," he said. "It’s elitist because they’re acting as if the pharmacists aren’t professionals like they are.” In 2007, 36 states considered legislation to protect health care providers' right of conscience."
