More on Homosexual political strategies

Gay Activist Packs Message for Denver-"One of the country's wealthiest gay activists is in Denver unveiling his national strategy. Tim Gill's message is to support pro-gay state lawmakers and eliminate the others...."Every advance in gay rights has been made at the state level," he said....In 2004, he helped Democrats seize control of the Colorado statehouse for the first time in 30 years. A slew of gay-friendly laws followed. In 2006, he orchestrated $15 million worth of donations to favored candidates and causes across the country. The payoff: Wins in 50 of 70 targeted campaigns, and power changes in four statehouses. But despite his success, Gill likes to stay under the radar. He rarely grants interviews or speaks in public...."The Republican party is controlled by a bunch of bigots and the only way the bigots are going to learn is if we take their power away from them," he added. "What is the very most important thing you can do is go back and support those pro-gay state legislators, eliminate the anti-gay state legislators." Gill urged the delegates to stretch their dollars by giving to pro-gay lawmakers in rural states. "Just a little bit of money goes a long way. I'll tell you that $500 or $1000 in Wyoming goes a lot farther than $500 or $1000 in LA where it probably doesn't even buy a bottle of wine," he said. Perhaps even more candidly, he acknowledged some frustration with his inability, so far, to defeat Colorado Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave. Musgrave sponsored the Federal Marriage Amendment....Gill did cite one state where he's working right now: New York. There, as CBN News previously reported, many expect the Democrats to take control of both chambers this fall, paving the way for a gay marriage bill. But Gill kept quiet about other states, and refused to talk with CBN News."- See his entire speech Tim Gill Talks Gay Rights to Dems.

Gay Activists Reiterate Strategy to Redefine Marriage-"Nine leading homosexual-activist groups are reiterating their strategy to redefine marriage across the nation. And they're getting plenty of funding along the way."

Homosexual Activists Draw Battle Lines-"A how-to manual for forcing same-sex "marriage" on all 50 states was just unleashed on the ACLU's website. The strategy, which was outlined in a succinct six-page memo called "Make Change, Not Lawsuits," urges couples who marry in California next week to proceed with caution. Homosexuals recognize that their movement to marry does not have the broad support of the American people. Instead of bringing lawsuits in every corner of the country, groups like the Human Rights Campaign, GLADD, Lambda Legal and others, ask homosexuals to wait for state legislatures to tackle the issue."

Maryland

Clearing up 'gender confusion' in Maryland-"This bill allows individuals to self-identify whether you're a man or a woman without any regard to what your biological sex is -- and this runs counter to American cultural interests. The people of Montgomery County are not in favor of this," Nimocks explains....They collected signatures to put the matter on the ballot and, now, the homosexual political special-interest groups in Maryland are trying to remove this matter from the November ballot," Nimocks contends. In a lawsuit against the county election board, an un-named group of homosexuals and transsexuals is asking the board to decertify the referendum petitions, even though the group missed the deadline to challenge the initiative. "It just shows the lengths to which folks will go to remove the voice of the people from the democratic process," the ADF attorney says."

New York

N.Y. Assembly Adds Special Protections for 'Gender Identity'-"Bruce Hausknecht, judicial analyst for Focus on the Family Action, said New York could learn a lesson from Colorado, which recently passed a similar law. "What the people of New York probably don't realize about this bill is that it is intended to open up restrooms and locker rooms to people of either sex, in order to accommodate the sensibilities and political objectives of 'transgendered' persons who will only be satisfied when all restrooms and locker rooms are unisex," he said....The federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would give homosexuals and "transgendered" individuals special rights, is sitting in the U.S. Senate. The House passed it, 235-184."
