See Jill Stanek vs Obama. Obama a Providential God send?
Providence or Coincident? Colorado is home not only of the Democrat National Convention but also, home of the first ever state to have a ballot initiative to amend the state constitution to define a human being as a person from fertilization. Because the National Convention is being held in Colorado and because Obama happens to be the presidential nominee (see Jill Stanek vs Obama. Obama a Providential God send?) there has been more protests then usual during the convention concerning the issue of abortion in Colorado which will help draw more attention to the issue of the unborn and possibly make the ballot initiative much more interesting then if the Democrat National Convention had not been in Colorado. Obama is arguably the most radical pro-abortion presidential nominee ever and so because of his voting records during his political career on this issue, especially the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (see New Documents Revealing Obama's cover up on Born Alive Infant Protection) has drawn more then usual concern from the pro-life community and attention from other media sources because of some of his radical positions on this issue.
Breaking news: Pro-lifers unfurl world's largest sign at DNC-"With a Fox News helicopter overhead and police at bay below, pro-lifers are more than halfway toward their official Guinness Book of World Records attempt to display the largest ever protest sign.
The display is on a grassy knoll on public property on a Denver mountain overlooking the Democrat National Convention....Guinness assigned ARTL official world record attempt number 228132. The protest sign weighs more than 2,700 pounds and was sewed together with more than 4 miles of seams connecting 2,400 twin sheets...."The tiniest boys and girls should be loved and protected," said ARTL president Steve Curtis in a press statement. "But as nominating Barak Obama emphasizes the DNC even supports killing kids in the womb old enough to know their mother's voice, sleep and dream, suck their thumbs, and play with their toes."
Colorado Personhood Amendment Ballot Initiative
Pelosi and Obama can't answer the question as to when life begins but Coloradoans will have that opportunity. I wonder if they will have a different take then Obama and Pelosi. For the sake of the unborn I hope they do!!! See below for videos and related articles at the very bottom concerning this issue.

Operation Rescue in Colorado
The Truth Trucks and the unborn getting more attention then usual in a shocking way. More videos from Operation Rescue reporting in from the DNC. See more Video Reports From The Democratic National Convention. Operation Rescue is the organization that extended the truth and grace in Christ to Norma McCorvey who is the Roe of Roe vs Wade who has since that court decision come to regret her position at that time but has found mercy and grace in repentance, forgiveness and faith in Jesus Christ. Thousands march around Denver Planned Parenthood-"More than 2,000 people marched around a new Planned Parenthood Clinic in Denver tonight instead of following the Democratic National Convention. Alveda King, a niece of the late Martin Luther King Jr., and Archbishop of Denver Charles Chaput spoke to the crowd before they lit candles and circled the gated clinic. Alveda King’s mother conceived her daughter when she was a freshman in college. She had wanted to get an abortion, but Martin Luther King Sr. told her mother she could not abort her baby. “This little baby human girl was allowed to live,” she said to the cheering crowd. King later aborted two of her children. “People say, ‘Aren’t you embarrassed and ashamed to stand up and say you had abortions?” King said. “I’d be more embarrassed if I didn’t tell you, because it is wrong, and without the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, I would not have been forgiven. Jesus Christ said, ‘Go and sin no more.’”...She then praised Bishop Charles Blake’s pro-life message at the interfaith gathering yesterday. “He delivered some very startling and surprising words. They expected the rhetoric that always proceeds. But he began to tell the audience, ‘I am a pro-life Democrat.’ We want to commend those men and women and say that life is a civil right, life is precious, and that it transcends politics.” King wrote a guest column last week for the Denver Post, calling abortion an "industry of racism. She does not plan to vote for Sen. Barack Obama unless he changes his stance on abortion. "People in every party should say, ‘We’re for life,’" she told Christianity Today. "They should not be held captive by politics in the battle and the struggle."
Abortion Activist Nancy Keenan Bashes John McCain at Democratic Convention-"Abortion advocates have such a tight grip on the Democratic Party that not one -- but two -- heads of pro-abortion groups received a prime time speaking slot. NARAL president Nancy Keenan followed on the heels of the party unanimously approving its pro-abortion platform and lashed out at John McCain. Keenan said she was "honored to be at this historic convention where delegates will nominate Barack Obama as the next pro-choice president." "I’m proud to say that my party -- the Democratic Party -- is united behind and supports a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion," she added, apparently not knowing the "safe" language has been removed from the platform....Keenan also hit McCain on his support for abstinence education and claimed he was indoctrinating students with erroneous information. "These questions matter as this historic election coincides with the thirty-fifth anniversary of Roe v. Wade," she said. "The Supreme Court is at an ideological tipping point and the next president decides Roe's fate." "John McCain has spent 25 years in Washington opposing [abortion] and pledges to appoint justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade," Keenan concluded. She urged support for abortion to protect abortion now and into the future."
Democrats told abortion one of their 'core moral values'-"The president of NARAL Pro-Choice America says while Democrats follow many faiths, the party is united in supporting abortion rights. Speaking before prime time at a Democratic National Convention that is reaching out to evangelical Christians, Nancy Keenan acknowledged religion among Democrats. But she said the right to abort a pregnancy is one of the party's "core moral values."
Democratic Party Approves Platform Mirroring Barack Obama's Pro-Abortion View-"The Democratic Party on Monday approved, without any noticeable dissent or opposition from the convention floor, a new national platform that is wholly pro-abortion. The platform, which mirror's Barack Obama's views, calls for unlimited abortions paid for by the American people.Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who recently admitted she doesn't know when human life begins, signed off on the platform with the approval of party activists. The abortion plank not only supports abortions but opposes any efforts to limit them and wants them paid for at public expense. "The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right," the platform reads. The party has removed any language calling for abortions to be "rare," or even "safe," preferring to concentrate on keeping them legal. That fact wasn't lost on Karen Cross, the political director for National Right to Life. She said the platform is even out of step with Democrats, and pointed out that 42% of those who identified themselves as Democrats in a June 2008 Polling Company survey said the oppose all or most abortions....Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver condemned the party for using flowery language in the latter part of the abortion section to cover up its extreme pro-abortion views. Previously, the head of Democrats for Life of America told LifeNews.com she was unhappy with the platform language. The organization had hoped for a unity statement acknowledging the dissent of large numbers of pro-life Democrats."
Denver Archbishop: Vote for Real Hope and Change-"He writes: “First, surrounding a bad social policy or party platform plank—for example, permissive abortion—with religious people doesn’t redeem the bad policy or plank. It merely compromises the religious people who try to excuse it.”
Washington archbishop rips Pelosi on abortion -"“After Mr. Tom Brokaw, the interviewer, pointed out that the Catholic Church feels strongly that life begins at conception, she replied, 'I understand. And this is, like, maybe 50 years or something like that. So again, over the history of the church, this is an issue of controversy,' " the release said.Wuerl strongly disagrees....Wuerl pointed out that the Catechism of the Catholic Church is clear, and has been clear for 2,000 years. He cited Catechism language that reads, "Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception … Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law.”A Pelosi spokesman did not immediately comment for this article. The Speaker recently said she, unlike other Catholic politicians who support abortion rights, has not clashed with her church about receiving communion."
Perkins: Obama has not 'seen the light' on abortion-"Perkins says there is nothing in Senator Obama's record that would indicate he is a pro-life, pro-family candidate. "He opposed [while] in the Illinois Senate the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, which really is...about infanticide," he points out. "He did not want to protect babies who survived an abortion. He did not want to provide basic medical care. He wanted to kill them outside the womb, allow them to die," warns Perkins."-See New Documents Revealing Obama's cover up on Born Alive Infant Protection.
The Democrats and the Abortion Wars-"Are Obama and Pelosi dodging the life-and-death question?...Throughout this lengthy campaign, the Democratic Party has worked hard to present itself as the party of intellect, competence and moral seriousness. Yet it's off to a very rocky start in addressing the substance of the abortion issue—which remains, 35 years after Roe v. Wade, one of the most volatile in our public life. Talk this week by Democratic leaders about lowering the incidence of abortion in America will rightly be welcomed by pro-life Democrats, including the large number of pro-life African-American Democrats. But the recent public record has to make committed pro-lifers of both parties wonder just how serious the Democratic leadership is about engaging the abortion debate."
