Jill Staneks covers what the media is covering up at the DNC (see Is the Democrat National Convention a Providential God Send to the state of Colorado for the sake of the unborn?)

Nets Not Showing Embarrassing DNC Convention Events-"No cameras have shown Trojan handing out condoms to Democratic delegates – or the prolife demonstration in Denver. The broadcast networks have devoted a lot of manpower and resources to covering this week’s Democratic National Convention in Denver. Viewers have been bombarded with images of delegates in crazy hats sporting Michelle/Kennedy/Obama/Biden/Hillary signs. Interviews of “average Americans” attending the convention have played across all the network newscasts both in the evenings and mornings. But there are some stories the networks are carefully avoiding. For instance, not one network morning program covered the pro-life demonstration held in Denver and no broadcast coverage has been given to the fact that the Bishop of Denver’s archdiocese has chastised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and soon-to-be-nominated-for-Vice President Joseph Biden, both Catholics, on their support for abortion.....Milbank also noted other happenings the networks haven’t bothered to report to the American public, like Planned Parenthood’s dance party called “Sex, Politics and Cocktails” or the fact that condoms were being handed out near the convention entrance by representatives of Trojan who challenged delegates to see how fast they could get the condoms on a banana. Now that would be compelling television, don’t you think?"
"Sheets of Shame" huge pro-life sign gets international attention-"The protest even got international coverage by the UK's The Guardian. Here's a sampling of other MSM organizations reporting the story: Fox News Colorado Daily Boston Globe Press Democrat Miami Herald Reuters The Denver Post RawStory.com Signs On San Diego BreitBart.com Kansas City Star The Denver Channel TampaBays10.com"
Here was the most objective news coverage, from Denver's NBC affiliate, 9News...
CO Springs Gazette: Pro-lifers rocked, all other protesters flopped at Democrat Convention-"I'm so proud of all the pro-life activists from around the country who sacrificed to protest and pray at the Democrat National Convention! An editorial in the CO Springs Gazette, August 28: Regardless of where one stands on the issue of abortion rights, one thing became perfectly clear in Denver this week: The election of Barack Obama stands to energize anti-abortion activists more than anything since Roe v. Wade, the 1972 Supreme Court decision that forced all states to legalize abortion. Activists throughout the city characterized Obama as the most pro-choice member of the Senate, because he voted against a bill that would require medical treatment for babies that survive late term abortions. Hillary Clinton voted for the bill. Far left activists who promised convention mayhem mostly made fools of themselves. They had no coherent message and couldn't even seem to organize chants and clever signs....Priests were arrested for staying put when police ordered them not to sit on the ground obstructing entry to the Denver Convention Center, not far from the outer security perimeter of Pepsi Center. Two teenagers from CA were arrested for writing anti-abortion messages with chalk on the sidewalk outside the hotel where Barack Obama stayed [photo below]. The formidable passion and conviction of the pro-life crowd was obvious. An alliance of the Archdiocese of Denver's Black Catholic Ministry Office and the Denver Ministerial Alliance, an organization of black Protestant ministers, teamed up to throw a rally at Denver's Martin Luther King Jr., Park. An estimated 5,000 people attended, dwarfing any other convention-related protest. MLK park is a half-block from Denver's newest Planned Parenthood Clinic, the largest abortion facility in the country at 52,000 square feet. A featured speaker at the event was Alveda King, Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece. Ms. King spent much of her life in her uncle's home before he died; her babysitter was Aunt Loretta Scott King....Alveda King insists the message is catching on. If she's correct, abortion will become a more complicated and sensitive issue for Democrats than ever before - mixed-race president or not."...To view video of Fr. Norman Weslin, Fr. Joseph Klee and pro-life activist Randall Terry being arrested, go here. To view video of the pro-life teen arrest go here."
Niece of MLK Jr. denounces pro-abortion Democrats-"The niece of the Martin Luther King, Jr. has used the Democratic Party convention in Denver this week to denounce abortion, which she calls a violation of civil rights. Alveda King, who traveled to Denver this week during the Democratic Party convention, notes that the party's platform does not recognize the life of the unborn to be a civil right. And she says while the Democrats have reached out to Christian voters, she wants to remind those Christians that the Bible supports the rights of all people -- and "that includes the pre-born," she adds."
Dems Update Platform on Abortion-"The new platform continues the party's opposition to any restrictions on abortion. It commits the party to using tax dollars to pay for abortions when a woman can't. But what's new is its expanded discussion on abortion reduction....Across the city this week, pro-life sights and sounds were clear on the side of a mountain, with walls of flowers to remember the unborn children, and in daily prayer events. When it comes to the Democrat's platform, many are outright skeptical. "Sen. Obama hasn't really been practicing what he preaches and if you look at his voting record it's one of the most liberal abortion voting records in all of the Senate," pro-life activist Kaitlyn Clare said. Many conservatives and Republicans say ultimately it comes down to legal protection for the unborn. And they disagree that government services are the best way to help pregnant women. "We support the goal of aiding pregnant women," said Peter Sprigg with the Family Research Council. "That's what the pregnancy resource movement is all about. That is a tremendous success of grass-roots movement." For now, both sides are looking to Barack Obama to better define his views on abortion, and explain just what kind of priority it would be for an Obama presidency."-CBNnews.com not part of the coverup and neither is Fox News see below...Now Fox News may have a bias to it also, as it seems that all news mediums do. But to choose one bias over the other is bias itself so why not get both sides by tuning in to both sides by adding some conservative sources of information to your knowledge base if you have not already done so!!!!
Denver Archbishop Chaput on FNC Cavuto show: Pelosi, Biden-"On August 28 Fox's Neil Cavuto interviewed Catholic Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver at the Democrat National Convention about Nancy Pelosi's misrepresentation of Catholic teaching on abortion, Joe Biden's reception of Communion, and historical Catholic alignment with Democrats:
Michelle Obama: Barack’s abortion stand respects ‘sacred responsibility of parenthood’-"Speaking of her husband, Michelle Obama said: “He’ll protect a woman’s freedom of choice, because government should have no say in whether or when a woman embraces the sacred responsibility of parenthood.”-And so we take the life of the innocent!!!
Anti-War Protesters for Contrast and Self-Refutation
Choice of Sarah Palin Prompts Praise and Protest-"It was after the Schlafly speech that a member of Code Pink stormed the stage, waiving a sign, shouting, “Peaceful protesters for pro-life…” until Schlafly snatched her sign and the protester was led away from the podium. Shortly after Ingraham spoke, two other protesters rushed the stage, shouting. While they were being escorted out of the hotel, they continued to tell security officials that Iraq is an “illegal war” and “no one can be pro-life and be pro-war.” “I am pro-life, a mother of four children, all of whom are draft age, and I want my kids and those kids and the children of Iraq to be safe,” Sue Eleuterio of Indiana, a member of Code Pink Women for Peace, told CNSNews.com. “The people who claim to be pro-life seem to think that life ends at birth instead of continues until we pass away. I think when someone makes a choice about life in terms of contraception or abortion, it’s a personal choice. If you were a woman, you would not want someone coming to tell you what to do with your body.”...Quick comment. If you were an innocent baby you would not want someone to tell you what do with not only your body but with your life!!!
Tense St. Paul march ends in arrests-"A group of rioters among a largely peaceful march against poverty rushed through security fences at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, prompting police to use tear gas and flash-bang grenades to keep them back, police said.
Police arrested at least three people in the incident, St. Paul police spokesman Tom Walsh said. Meanwhile police said that 135 of 286 people arrested for violence and vandalism Monday night face felony charges. VIDEO: St. Paul police detain protestors St. Paul Police Chief John Harrington said he hoped the remainder of the convention, which ends Thursday night, would be calmer. "We are anticipating that there may well be less criminal activity because there are less of them out there," Harrington said. "But we do not expect there will be no criminal activity."
GOP Convention: 250 protesters arrested, including Amy Goodman-"The San Francisco Chronicle reports: “Police used pepper spray and tear gas to quell breakaway demonstrators from an otherwise peaceful anti-war demonstration Monday outside the Republican National Convention, after the splinter groups smashed department store and police car windows.”
Protestors Arrested After RNC's Third Night-"Police arrested 102 protesters in downtown Minneapolis early Thursday following a concert by the rock group Rage Against the Machine, raising to more than 400 the number arrested in demonstrations related to the Republican National Convention...Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty blamed the violence this week on a small group of "anarchists, nihilists, and goofballs who want to break stuff and hurt people."
"They need to be dealt with," Pawlenty said in an interview with WCCO-AM of Minneapolis. "When you want to break stuff and hurt people, you can't do that."...Police said they broke up more serious plans to disrupt the convention. Search warrants and other police documents made public this week claim that anarchists discussed plans to throw Molotov cocktails, sabotage the Xcel Energy Center or the St. Paul Downtown Airport, stretch metal chains across freeways and kidnap delegates."
Now it is true that not all the protesters were violent but apparently quite abit of arrest show that quite a few were. So I applaude those who did peacefully protested which would be consistent with their anti-war position but those who did not peacefully protest remain self -refuted.
Other Liberal Media Bias on the issue of Same Sex Marriage
New Blog: “All the letters not fit to print” for those tired of the media’s effort to silence opposition to the “gay lobby”-If you think a blog like this is unnecessary please do see Huckabee vs Romney over the issue of Same-Sex Marriage and the story on Prop. 8 in California is getting expensive and boycotted by Public TV. and scroll down to Religion vs Same Sex Marriage to be convinced otherwise and also see Marriage Amendment/African-Americans were determining factor for Bush in 2004? Is this why liberal media silent about this issue?.
Other Pro-Life News that the media seems to not allow you to be made aware of as you go an vote according to their persuasion
See possibly why at Media's no emphasis of abortion as an issue hurting McCain and helping Obama/Obama on Fatherhood/The Physiology of Motherhood/Bush vs Clinton but no worry a pro-life rising is coming from South Dakota, see South Dakota makes abortion free history on 07/21/2008 and then in November 2008 South Dakota and Colorado may make US History's firsts.
Three ghosts haunt Obama-"Barack Obama... has 3 major vulnerabilities here as I see it. One is his 20-year relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright....Another problem is Obama's relationship with the unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist bomber William Ayers....Finally, there is Obama's 2003 vote against a bill, "virtually identical" as the Obama campaign admits, to one that passed the U.S. Senate 98-0, banning the killing of fetuses who have survived abortions....Liberals like Obama tend to go over the line between positions and associations that most voters find reasonable (though they may not agree) and those they find outrageous. They assume, usually correctly, that mainstream media will be reluctant to report on the latter, as has been the case in all those mentioned above. Conservatives take more care to separate themselves from the outrageous because they know mainstream media will pounce on them if they don't. On Ayers, the Obama campaign has tried to suppress discussion. But it will likely fail. The emergence of new media and the First Amendment mean that is like stopping the Mississippi River from flowing to the sea. If I were advising Obama, I would tell him to confess error, as he arguably has on Wright, on both Ayers and the Born Alive Protection Act, lest they cause his campaign as much damage as the furlough ads caused Michael Dukakis and the Swift Boat ads caused John Kerry."-See Factcheck.org confirms Obama misrepresented his position for 4 years on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act in Illinois! and New Documents Revealing Obama's cover up on Born Alive Infant Protection.
California Poll Shows Small Lead for Measure for Parental Notification on Abortion-"A new poll of California voters find a plurality support a November ballot proposal that would help parents by allowing them to know when their teenage daughters are considering an abortion. Proposition 4 represents the third attempt to give parents the right to be aware of a potential abortion decision. Likely voters are divided over Proposition 4, which would amend the state Constitution to require that a parent be notified at least 48 hours before a minor has an abortion. The Public Policy Institute of California conducted the survey and its poll shows 47 percent are in favor and 44 percent are opposed. Breaking down the poll further, most Republicans (62%) favor the initiative, most Democrats (56%) are opposed, and independents are divided (48% yes, 44% no). Californians defeated a similar measure in 2005 (47% yes, 53% no) and in 2006 (46% yes, 54% no). The polling firm also noted that its survey found three percent more Californians take a pro-life position than in a February 2004 poll with the same question. The notification measure, also called Sarah's Law, is named for a 15-year-old girl who died just four days after a legal abortion left her with a torn cervix and fatal infection."
Abortion begins downward spiral: a testimony - listen closely APA-"Dakota Voice has posted this testimony which was reprinted with permission of Operation Outcry. It is prefaced with this publisher’s note: “this personal testimony is being reprinted in light of the upcoming vote in South Dakota on Initiated Measure 11 and the recent statement by the American Psychological Association that abortion does not threaten women’s mental health.” The testimony begins: “My name is Theresa Bonopartis and I am post abortive. Like many teenagers who find themselves pregnant, I hid my pregnancy from my parents out of fear. I was in my fourth month when I finally told them, and although it was something I did not expect, they threw me out of the house and told me to forget I was their daughter . . ."
YouTube Censors Investigative Videos Critical of Planned Parenthood-"YouTube, the popular Internet-video website, blocked four videos from the pro-life student organization Live Action over the past two weeks, saying that the videos contained “inappropriate content”. YouTube gave neither advance warning nor specific reasons for why the videos were removed, and has not responded to Live Action’s request to cease censorship and to unblock the videos for public viewing. The videos include phone recordings of Planned Parenthood employees agreeing to process donations from a caller with a racist agenda (http://www.liveactionfilms.org/youtube)."
Joe Martins on Wallbuilders Live: Pro-lifers on campus-"ADF attorney Joe Martins appeared on Wallbuilders Live to discuss the right of pro-life students to express their views on college campuses. The mp3 file runs just under 12 minutes and is here. Related: Wayne State University denies funds, access to pro-life student group"
