A video from Hannity and Colmes. The most fair and balanced program I have found yet that actually 1) takes up many more issues then Big Media would have you know is out there and 2) allows both sides to ask the questions they would like of the one bringing up the issues and 3) allows the issuer to respond to the questions and allows follow up questions and 4) allows you the American people to come to your own commentary of a conclusion rather then a spoon fed one.
I am not sure if America has been modeled a more fair and balanced approach then a show like this one. At least not that I have found. Not to say there are not other ones similar to this one out there. If there are I look forward to discovering them!!!
See comments and another video concerning this show at Big Media is revealing it's heart concerning the unborn like never before this election thus giving just cause for boycott!!! and also see Howard Stern on youtube at National Right to Life/Caring Outreach/The Unborn vs ABC Radio Network/ABC Chicago/Obama asking interesting questions of Obama supporters before the election that reveal something of the same likes below!!!
"All of this was conducted for a forthcoming documentary on how the news media impacted the 2008 election. And yet.....
Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes
Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter
And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!
Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.
Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)"
Social Conservatives as Scapegoats-"To listen to some Republicans, not to mention, the braying of media outlets such as MSNBC, and even, here and there, a few economic libertarians, you would think that traditional conservatives, the defenders of the unborn and the integrity of marriage as a venerable and ancient institution, were responsible for two wars gone sour, over-spending at a level to embarrass Lyndon Johnson, the largest expansion of entitlement spending since the Great Society, numerous cases of GOP corruption and betrayal of the public trust centering around earmarks and political favors and the miserable results in the presidential and congressional elections just passed....Listening to these outcries, one might believe that the global economic meltdown, the single biggest reason for Senator McCain's defeat, was the result of a worldwide conspiracy of the Right to Life movement, pro-marriage activists, Mormons, Evangelicals, Mass-attending Catholics, oh yes, and the NRA....This scapegoating of the solid and most loyal of the three wings of the Reaganite coalition is inaccurate and just plain wrong. It is self-defeating in the long run. It is rank blame-shifting and a libel of a GOP constituency which has always supported low taxes, a strong defense and a constrained judiciary. All it asked for was fair consideration of its concerns with family and the culture of life...."-Not to mention the infomercials, the outspending on campaign ads, the campaign funding overall, an unpopular prior president in same party problem, the economic downturn that flipped the polls immediately on McCain, and that more than four million Americans who go to church more than once a week and voted in 2004 stayed home on November 4!!! This is disturbing!!! See below....
Survey: Churches Less Active in '08 Election-"The survey by Pew Research Center for the People & the Press found that significantly fewer voters who attended religious services said that they received information about political parties and candidates at their place of worship during the 2008 election cycle.
Among all voters who attend religious services at least once or twice a month, only 15 percent say they received election information at their house of worship. In 2004, 27 percent said they were given such information.
The difference was most greatest among white evangelicals, who reported a 17 percent change between 2004 and 2008 (33 to 16 percent, respectively) and among Catholics, who also saw a 17 percent drop (31 to 14 percent)."
Hollywood out of step with American morals: poll-"A majority of Americans say Hollywood doesn't share their moral values, according to a poll commissioned by the Anti-Defamation League, a group that fights anti-Semitism.
Sixty-one percent of those surveyed said that religious values in America are "under attack," and 59% agreed that "the people who run the TV networks and the major movie studios do not share the religious and moral values of most Americans."
The poll, titled "American Attitudes on Religion, Moral Values and Hollywood," was conducted by the Marttila Communications Group, which surveyed 1,000 adults nationwide. It was released Friday at the ADL's annual meeting in Los Angeles.
"These findings point to the challenges that we face in dealing with issues of religion in society," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL national director. "The belief that religion is under attack underlies the drive to incorporate more religion into American public life. Disturbingly, 43% of Americans believe there is an organized campaign by Hollywood and the national media to weaken the influence of religious values in this country."
Among the survey's findings:
-- 61% of respondents agree that "religious values are under attack in this country," while 36% disagree with that statement.
-- 43% said that Hollywood and the national media are waging an organized campaign to "weaken the influence of religious values in this country."
-- 63% disagree with the statement that "the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews," while only 22% agree with that point. When ADL conducted its first survey on anti-Semitic attitudes, in 1964, nearly half of the respondents believed that the television and film industries were run by Jews.
-- Nearly 40% support the notion that "dangerous ideas should be banned from public school libraries," and nearly the same number disagree with the statement that "censoring books is an old-fashioned idea."
-- Nearly half of those surveyed -- 49% -- believe that the United States is becoming "too tolerant in its acceptance of different ideas and lifestyles; 47% disagree with that statement.
The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
