At the banquet, I shared the platform with Pam Tebow, mother of Florida quarterback — and winner of last year’s Heisman trophy as the best player in college football — Tim Tebow.
She shared her amazing testimony about how doctors had actually advised her to abort Tim when she was pregnant with him…

Teen Pregnancy Linked to Watching Sexy TV Shows-"Groundbreaking research suggests that pregnancy rates are much higher among teens who watch a lot of TV with sexual dialogue and behavior than among those who have tamer viewing tastes.
"Sex and the City," anyone? That was one of the shows used in the research.
The new study is the first to link those viewing habits with teen pregnancy, said lead author Anita Chandra, a Rand Corp. behavioral scientist. Teens who watched the raciest shows were twice as likely to become pregnant over the next three years as those who watched few such programs.
Previous research by some of the same scientists had already found that watching lots of sex on TV can influence teens to have sex at earlier ages.
Shows that highlight only the positive aspects of sexual behavior without the risks can lead teens to have unprotected sex "before they're ready to make responsible and informed decisions," Chandra said....Chandra said TV-watching was strongly connected with teen pregnancy even when other factors were considered, including grades, family structure and parents' education level...."Media helps shape the social script for teenagers. Most parents know that. This is just good research to confirm that," Albert said.
Still, U.S. teen pregnancies were on a 15-year decline until a 3 percent rise in 2006, the latest data available. Experts think that could be just be a statistical blip...."For a kid who no one's talking to about sex, and then he watches sitcoms on TV where sex is presented as this is what the cool people do," the outcome is obvious, Walsh said."-So their you have another reason to turn off your liberal anti-life pro-unwanted teen pregnancy anti-unborn boob tube!!! NM: “Anti-abortion rally draws hundreds: San Juan County residents march near Planned Parenthood in Farmington”-"The Daily Times reports:
Hundreds of people attended an anti-abortion rally Sunday afternoon in front of a clinic connected to other clinics that provide abortions.
Organizers counted about 375 people who marched at Planned Parenthood in Farmington as part of world-wide protest coordinated by the nonprofit “40 Days for Life.” . . ."
N.Y. Catholic Cardinal Compares Abortion to Hitler’s Holocaust-"Yet another U.S. Catholic bishop has spoken out forcibly against abortion in the days before the election. Cardinal Edward Egan of the New York Archdiocese, writing in his weekly column on Oct. 23, likened abortion to Hitler’s Holocaust and Stalin’s Communist atrocities. Egan wrote that those who convince themselves that unborn babies are “mere clusters of tissues” are practicing “self-deceit in a most extreme form.”

Colorado Personhood Amendment
Colorado Gov. Ritter Will Oppose Ballot Vote on Abortion-Personhood Measure but The Gazette Says Vote Yes On Amendment 48 -"The article continued to address the over 85 organizations supporting personhood, and the fact that the personhood amendment is supported by doctors.
Burtons article in the Gazette concluded with this summary: "It shouldn't matter if you vote Republican or Democrat or if you are Christian or atheist, we all have a responsibility to protect innocent life. Colorado voters have an unprecedented opportunity to do that by acknowledging what we know to be true. Vote yes on 48."
Northern Ireland
British Parliament MPs File Motion to Force Northern Ireland to Legalize Abortion-"Thirteen members of the British parliament have filed a motion saying that the 1967 law that legalizes abortion in the rest of the U.K. should be extended to Northern Ireland. Labour Party MP Diane Abbott is leading the effort in the House of Commons to force abortion on the region.
The measure also calls on the taxpayer-funded National Health Service to pay for the abortions of Northern Ireland women who travel to England for them.
A previous attempt to force abortion on Northern Ireland failed as MPs were prevented from adding an amendment to do so to the pro-cloning HFE bill."
