Below is a response to my email from Chris Norby one of the 5 Orange County Supervisors who rejected tax payers funding of Planned Parenthood. It is great to know that there are politicians worthy of our vote. For my email to the 5 Supervisors see Planned Parenthood looses in Orange County California $300,000 by 5-0 vote over their support of abortion....

"Dear Pro-Life Citizen,

Thank you for your email of support.

As an Orange County Supervisor, I joined my Board colleagues to end public funding for Planned Parenthood during our meeting of March 10. Our action has subjected us to much criticism by abortion-oriented interest groups and some voices in the local media.



We have also received many emails such as yours in support of our action. I greatly appreciate you kind and encouraging words.

Those whose values we share must stick together. Public opinion has been turning against abortion. People of all faiths—and many with no faith at all—recognize the moral dimension in stopping a beating heart.

With birth rates declining and many older childless couples yearning to start a family, every baby is a wanted baby—by someone. Abortion may seem the easy way out for some, but the long-term loss lingers for a lifetime.
