ObamaCare seems to be translating into democrat losses in the Senate and elsewhere. Now it may not just be ObamaCare but an over all feeling of government becoming to big in more then just healthcare. This unpopularity seemed to start with the bailout under Bush that McCain and Obama helped push in '08 and then continued under Obama with more in '09. That decision was not a popular one at all. Below is copy of recent polling amongst likely voters and in every race Republicans are ahead by sizeable margins.

Republican challenger Chris Christie continues to lead incumbent Democrat Jon Corzine in the race for New Jersey governor.

In the race to become the next Governor of Virginia, Republican Robert F. McDonnell retains a steady lead over Democrat R. Creigh Deeds. Update 09/18/2009 Race became closer as Republican leads now by only 2%.

Republican Governor Charlie Crist continues to maintain a sizable lead over his chief Democratic opponent, Rep. Kendrick Meek, in Florida’s 2010 race for the U.S. Senate.

It’s a knockout for Rudy Giuliani if he’s the Republican candidate for governor in New York next year running against incumbent Democrat David Paterson. But if Andrew Cuomo is Giuliani’s opponent, chalk up a win for the Democrat. At least that’s the way it looks in the summer of 2009.

In an early look of Florida’s 2010 Governor’s race, Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum leads Democratic State Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink 42% to 34%.
