LifeNews.com reports that Dan Rather will headline Planned Parenthood fund raising event making many pro-lifers skeptical of not only Dan Rather but other journalists with conflicts of interest and explains why Big Media doesn't report on the issue of abortion all that much from a pro-life perspective if at all.

Suggestion to Big Media: hire not only pro-choice anchormen and journalist but how about some pro-life anchormen and journalists.

"Scott Fischbach, the director of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, told LifeNews.com Tuesday afternoon he's one of those not surprised by Rather's appearance.

"For years viewers watched Dan Rather deliver the news of the day believing he was objective and fair, while the whole time he harbored anti-life views," he said.

"Clearly Dan Rather has never been objective, in fact his support of Planned Parenthood proves how radical his views truly are," Fischbach continued. "It is sad that Dan Rather has now agreed to raise money for the number one killer of unborn children in Minnesota, Planned Parenthood."

Rather is no stranger to accusations of bias on abortion.

Although hundreds of thousands of pro-life advocates and a handful of abortion activists attend the March for Life each year, Rather began his coverage of the event in 2004 this way: "Tens of thousands of demonstrators on both sides of the issue filled the streets of Washington today."

The Roger and Nancy McCabe Foundation will help the abortion business with a $25,00 challenge grant for all new and increased donations."
