Graham makes some valid points. I would like to add that not only are our courts not set up to try such cases which immediately brings into question the validity of the outcome before the case is even tried but this will all be at our expense. They will be using American tax payer funded courts that are intended to be used to try American citizens as a public service to Americans not international terrorists. This is absurd. Some would argue that we are at least giving a fair trial. Sure a fair trial in a system set up not to try such cases in the very country and state the crimes that got us involved were committed in. I mean be careful how you answer these questions cause to remain consistent you must then be willing to do the same for Osama or Hitler or Stalin in the future as Lindsey Graham points out in his question concerning Osama below. And what about the thousands of other war criminals are we really going to be consistent and give them all trials in our states at our state and federal court's expense.

If so set up a court of some sort that specializes in war crimes like a military court and thus would be more fit and able to try such cases. Isn't that what we are suppose to be doing anyways and don't we have such courts? After all is this not the first case to be tried in our military courts. Did we have some sort of problem with prior military cases that warrants the use of a court system not set up to try such cases?
