The debate isn't over whether or not the Republicans and Democrats want to extend unemployment benefits but over whether or not those benefits should be paid for or added to our national debt. Republicans are unwilling to pass the bill without the bill being paid for and Democrats are unwilling to pass the bill by cutting spending elsewhere to pay for it.

Our president and those on the left know the debate but they are making this a political issue against Republicans and proof of that is is that they are withholding from you this valuable information. And yet they have the balls to claim that Republicans are playing politics. Unbelievable!!!!

It really is to bad that the Democrats who control both houses and our White House and yet they have the balls to blame blocking the passage of this bill on Republicans.
