Click here for the vote count. 232 Republicans and 2 Democrats voted in favor and all in the negative were 178 Democrats while 9 Republicans and 13 Democrats did not vote for whatever reason. Actually those vote tallies were not a vote on passage the actual vote on passage of the bill was 239 to 160. 229 Republican and 10 Democrats joined to beat 1 Republican and 159 Democrats to pass this cut in spending. According to OpenCongress.org this bill is expected to eliminate $520 million in federal spending over the next ten years. Better yet CBO released on Monday that this bill will reduce spending by $617 million over 10 years.
