Watch McCain's excellent 7 minute speech before passage of Reid's Manager's Amendment and read this morning's email from The Heritage Foundation's blog below. And for more context and evidence on what McCain is talking about: Obama promised Americans that CSPAN would cover negotiations on health care plan with all parties at the table so we can see what choices and deals are being made. and  McCain and Democrat Dorgan on the Dorgan amendment that has not been allowed to be voted on for some 7 days. Why? PHRMA and Video: Mitch McConnell claims deals were made with Senator from Nebraska and Vermont to gain votes for Reid's Manager's Amendment as Reid confirms this to be the case.

Now from The Heritage Foundation...

Morning Bell: The Health Care Fight Has Just Begun

The months long drama over the fate of President Barack Obama’s health care plan ended at 1 AM this morning when the Senate voted  60 - 40, on a strictly party line vote, to end debate on Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) manager’s amendment; a mere 38-hours after it had been unveiled to the American public. With Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Ben Nelson (D-NE) threatening to veto the bill if any significant changes are made by the House in conference, it is virtually guaranteed that this is the version of Obamacare that will be signed by the President before his State of the Union address in January.

Final passage of this health bill will be historic, but not in the way President Obama intended. Never before has such a large restructuring of the U.S. economy been passed on a straight party-line vote. Never before has legislation so unpopular with the American people been passed on a straight party-line vote. Never before has the fate of one-sixth of our economy been so dependent on backroom deals and payoffs the full extent of which may not be known for years.

To defend this abomination of a bill yesterday on the Sunday shows, the White House did not send Health Reform director Nancy-Ann DeParle or Budget director Peter Orszag. Instead they sent White House sent political consultant David Axelrod to defend the bill on three of the five top Sunday shows. But there simply is no defending the policy substance of this bill:

Busts the Federal Budget: According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the amended Reid plan would reduce the federal budget deficit by $132 billion over the period 2010 to 2019, but that is a mirage. The CBO can only score what the Senate tells them they will do, not what everyone knows they actually will do. For example, the Senate bill cuts Medicare fees for doctors by 20% starting in 2011. Nobody believes these cuts will be allowed to happen. By changing just that provision, Obamacare ends up adding $196 billion to the deficit in the first 10 years and $765 billion in the second decade.

Busts State Budgets: According to The Fiscal Survey of States, 31 states cut higher education and 26 states cut K-12 education in 2009. This is because Medicaid and education are almost always any states two highest budget items, and states cannot touch the entitlement to Medicaid. Obamacare only increases state Medicaid obligations thus further bankrupting states. This is why Sen. Nelson demanded a permanent Medicaid bailout for Nebraska in exchange for his vote. Other states like Hawaii, Vermont, and Massachusetts also won key federal bailouts for their health programs. Who are the losers? All the other that are forced to pick up the $1 billion tab.

Increases Health Care Costs: Throughout the health care debate, President Obama promised reform that would “bend the cost curve down” on health care spending. But according to the President’s own the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMMS) the Senate does exactly the opposite, actually driving health care costs up by adding $234 billion to national health expenditures.

Endangers Americans Quality of Care: President Obama used to promise that “If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.” But as the CBO confirmed this month 10 million Americans will be forced out of their current health insurance plan should Obamacare become law. Even worse, CMMS has reported that Obamacare’s $493 billion in Medicare cuts could force as many as one-in-five health care providers into insolvency thus forcing them out of the Medicare program.

Forces Americans to Pay for Abortions: Despite the inclusion of the Nelson amendment, when the federal government’s role over the financing and delivery of health care grows, as it does under this bill, a requirement to segregate premiums that cover abortion services would be merely cosmetic in practice.

$400 Billion in New Taxes: From taxes on employment to taxes on tanning beds, Obamacare is funded with over $400 billion in new taxes at a time of double digit unemployment, including $29 billion in taxes on 19 million Americans who still will not receive any health insurance.

A “Starter Home” for Government Run Health Care: While technically not a public option, this scheme will have the same results. By giving unprecedented power and authority to the Director of Office of Personal Management, the multi-state plans created in the bill will simply become the government plan. Single payer advocate Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) is even calling the bill a “starter home” for further reform.

This bill will only make every single problem with out health care system worse: higher spending, higher deficits, and worse care. Former-Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean said on Meet the Press yesterday, “[This bill] simply sets us on a track in this country which is expensive and where we’re going to have lots more political fights.” Dean is dead on. President Barack Obama’s signature on this health care bill settles nothing: it is only the beginning of a much larger health care fight.

Quick Hits:

  • During last night’s debate, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) compared health bill opponents to Nazis on Kristallnacht.
  • While the White House is calling President Obama’s Copenhagen Climate trip a “meaningful and unprecedented breakthrough”, the left is calling it the “Copenhagen Catastrophe”.
  • As Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) rushes to give the Federal Reserve more regulatory power, the Washington Post reports that the Fed failed to prevent this crisis because it did not understand the risks being taken.
  • The head of the UN’s climate change panel - Dr Rajendra Pachauri - has established an astonishing worldwide portfolio of business interests with bodies which have been investing billions of dollars in organizations dependent on his policy recommendations.
  • Now that the state is not paying for them, the Beverly Hills School board has voted to cut hundreds of slots reserved for nonresident children.

Update 12/05/2008 Obama Raises $104 Million in 5 Weeks-"Barack Obama's presidential campaign reports raising $104 million in October and November. It marks a grand finale to a successful bid that shattered fundraising records. Overall, Obama raised nearly $750 million during his odyssey to the presidency. Campaign finance reports covering the period from Oct. 15 to Nov. 24 were due to the Federal Election Commission on Thursday. The Democrat's fundraising and his spending eclipsed that of his Republican rival, John McCain. Obama was the first presidential candidate since the campaign finance reforms of the 1970s to raise private donations during the general election. McCain opted to accept public financing. That limited him to $84 million to spend from the beginning of September until Election Day."

Campaign Financing

Obama’s Small Donor Juggernaut More Myth than Reality, Report Shows-"It was widely reported that Barack Obama’s historic presidential win was fueled by an army of small donors, often contributing $5 and $10, at an unheard of rate in American history, but a recent study shows that Obama’s small donor base – and possibly reports of unparalleled youth-voter turnout – was more myth than reality. The Campaign Finance Institute (CFI) study says that 26 percent of donors to Obama’s presidential campaign gave $200 or less, the definition of a small donation. That’s compared to 25 percent for President George W. Bush’s 2004 reelection campaign....“The myth is that money from small donors dominated Barack Obama’s finances,” said CFI Executive Director Michael J. Malbin. “The reality of Obama’s fundraising was impressive, but the reality does not match the myth.”...News reports that seemingly overstated the power of small donations in Obama’s campaign are similar to those stories that reported young voters – ages 18 to 29 – mobilized in droves as never before to elect Obama as president...However, the percentage of voters falling into this age category did not soar. There were 17 percent in that age category casting a ballot in 2004 compared to 18 percent in 2008, according to exit polling data from Edison Media Research/Mitofsky International....“All this publicity about droves of young people that were sending him small contributions and it was a revolution in campaign finance was all a smokescreen to cover the fact that he was rejecting public funding, having said he would accept it, and he was taking large major contributions hand-over-fist,” author and former campaign consultant Dick Morris told CNSNews.com. In total, Obama’s presidential campaign raised $452.8 million compared to McCain who raised $204.4 million. McCain was constrained by the same public financing system used by both candidates in the 2004 race, which Obama opted out of this year allowing him to raise an unlimited amount. In 2004, Bush raised $256 million compared to Kerry’s $215.9 million....Voter “turnout was only about 4 million higher, while as from ’00 to ’04 it grew by 20 million,” Morris said. “The big change was that the black percentage rose from 11 to 13. But other than that, it was essentially the same electorate.”...“The fact is that Obama’s financial juggernaut broke records at all contributions levels. The reality does not match the myth, but reality itself was impressive.”

What did Clinton do in his first two days in office?

Obama's first 100 days-"From NPR, November 13:
"If in his first 100 days, he repeatedly sticks his finger in the eyes of the 48% of voters who voted against him," [Gary] Bauer [president of American Values] says, "I think that's going to be a clear signal that however how charming it was to independent voters, it was a ruse."
But [Michael] Gerson [a former Bush speechwriter] believes Obama learned a lesson from Clinton's experience. He says that the new president would be crazy to make abortion his first agenda item -- even though he has to contend with "8 years of pent up liberal demand."
"So he's going to have to make some of those choices," Gerson says. "He has high expectations from the liberal wing of the congressional majority, and he has the realities of governing, where you don't want to pick culture war fights in the first 100 days, or even your first year, because you want to get some things accomplished."
A reminder of President Clinton's early moves (click to enlarge):" Click on link to see chart. Basically Clinton on January 22, 1993 issued five executive orders: 1) Reversed Title 10 regulations banning abortion referred by federal employees, 2) Repealed Mexico City Policy restricting federal funding of international organizations that work to reverse countries' abortion laws, 3) Negated band on funding for fetal tissue transplants, 4) Ordered military hospitals to commit abortion and 5) Asked FDA "review" the import ban on RU-486.

Now. What was first on Bush's executive order list?

Has Bush Done Anything Right???-"http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2008/02/20080225-7.html "the successful implementation of President Bush's vision to reshape government's approach to addressing human need. By leveling the playing field for faith-based charities and strengthening grassroots nonprofits to effectively help Americans in need, the Faith-Based and Community Initiative is having a tremendous impact on countless lives across our Nation and around the world."

It looks like he accomplished this with an Executive Order and was one of the first things he did in office. Here is the 7 year after report. http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/fbci/The-Quiet-Revolution.pdf. "Government...doesn't have the monopoly on compassion. America is richly blessed by the diversity and vigor of neighborhood healers; civic, social, charitable and religious groups. These quiet heroes lift peoples lives in ways that are beyond governments know-how, usually on shoe-string budgets, and they heal our nations ills one heart and one act of kindness at a time."http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/fbci/Final_Chart_Book.pdf report in all 50 states of showing how much money was given to secular institutions and faith based state by state."

What about what Obama may do?

First things on Obama's list of first things he will do as President?-"“Well, the first thing I will do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act.”-In answering this question by: "Dessa Cosma: Um, as you were talking about earlier, the recent Bush Supreme Court’s decision really took away critically important decisions from women and put them in the hands of politicians. And as a result of this, we’re expecting, and have already seen, so much anti-choice legislation at the state level. Um, what would you do at the federal level not only to ensure access to abortion but to make sure that the judicial nominees that you will inevitably be able to pick are true to the core tenets of Roe v. Wade?"

An Obama Tilt in Campaign Coverage-"The Post provided a lot of good campaign coverage, but readers have been consistently critical of the lack of probing issues coverage and what they saw as a tilt toward Democrat Barack Obama. My surveys, which ended on Election Day, show that they are right on both counts....The Post was deficient in stories that reported more than the two candidates trading jabs; readers needed articles, going back to the primaries, comparing their positions with outside experts' views. There were no broad stories on energy or science policy, and there were few on religion issues....The op-ed page ran far more laudatory opinion pieces on Obama, 32, than on Sen. John McCain, 13...The project also calculated that in that time, 57 percent of the stories were about the horse race and 13 percent were about issues...June 9 until Nov. 2...One gaping hole in coverage involved Joe Biden, Obama's running mate. When Gov. Sarah Palin was nominated for vice president, reporters were booking the next flight to Alaska. Some readers thought The Post went over Palin with a fine-tooth comb and neglected Biden. They are right; it was a serious omission."-At least they can admit it and allow a critique of their own but that is all I praise them for!!!

Will the Washington Post post this: Media mum on Obama chief of staff's political baggage-"Burchfiel points out that, thus far, there has been very little mention in the media about the connection between Emanuel and Freddie Mac. And BMI, he says, is concerned that the American public is not going be informed as much as they should be about the new president's cabinet and administration....Burchfiel says, in fact, since his successful run for the House of Representatives in 2002, Emanuel has been the beneficiary of more than $51,000 in campaign cash from Freddie Mac and its sister organization, Fannie Mae. The media watchdog has a problem with that."

Or what I reported on at Obama's Pick for Chief of Staff Tops Recipients of Wall Street Money and then also compare what I reported on and heard as a not so obvious answer see youtube video of ABC this week at Obama's tax plan changes to more like a Republican one? Also, Election coverage TV ratings in!!! and then see Emanuel Dodges Question on Postponing Income Tax Increases for the script and then see Washington Posts interpretation at Aide: Middle-Class Tax Cut a Priority: Emanuel Hints That Increase for Upper Incomes Also... " After watching that interview did you conclude that Emanuel hinted at that?? Maybe and maybe not you watch for yourself!!! So there you have two different articles from two different sources and can see a bias in each including myself. We will have to see which bias wins for the way Emanuel answered that question really left the door open which is different then Obama's campaign claims.

WaPo: Bush Pro-Life Regs “Onerous,” “Ideologically Offensive”-"“Controversial.” “Onerous.” “Ideologically offensive.” These are the words used by Washington Post reporters Ceci Connolly and R. Jeffrey Smith to describe certain Bush administration regulations on mostly social issues, which they expect will be reversed quickly when President-elect Obama is inaugurated next year.
The Nov. 9 story, “Obama Positioned to Quickly Reverse Bush Actions,” revealed that Obama is “now consulting with liberal advocacy groups” in order to create a hit list of “the most onerous or ideologically offensive” regulatory and policy initiatives of the Bush administration. Two of the top three initiatives identified in the Post’s story are pro-life: restrictions on funding of embryonic stem cell research and abortion. The third is global warming.
Connolly and Smith left no doubt as to their feelings on pro-life initiatives. Regulations “imposed” by President Bush include his “controversial” limit on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research, which “pleased religious conservatives.”
According to the story, Obama is also expected, “to lift a so-called global gag rule barring international family planning groups that receive U.S. aid from counseling women about the availability of abortion, even in countries where the procedure is legal.” This is the Mexico City Policy, a regulation put in place under President Reagan, rescinded by President Clinton and reinstituted by President George W. Bush. Post reporters used the word “reimposed” to describe Bush’s action. And for them it is only President Bush who operates from a partisan agenda."-And the Post doesn't!!!

Even a pro-choice feminist lefty can see the problem at: A Lefty Sees the Light-"Camille Paglia...her online column at Salon. Thanks to Hot Air...In the closing weeks of the election, however, I became increasingly disturbed by the mainstream media's avoidance of forthright dealing with several controversies that had been dogging Obama -- even as every flimsy rumor about Sarah Palin was being trumpeted as if it were engraved in stone on Mount Sinai. For example, I had thought for many months that the flap over Obama's birth certificate was a tempest in a teapot. But simple questions about the certificate were never resolved to my satisfaction . . .Given that Obama had served on a Chicago board with Ayers and approved funding of a leftist educational project sponsored by Ayers, one might think that the unrepentant Ayers-Dohrn couple might be of some interest to the national media. But no, reporters have been too busy playing mini-badminton with every random spitball about Sarah Palin, who has been subjected to an atrocious and at times delusional level of defamation merely because she has the temerity to hold pro-life views...."

Expect more bias from Big Media on the subject of same sex marriage

Networks promote Prop. 8 protesters-"Network coverage of the victory of California's Proposition 8 has focused principally on the supposed denial of rights to homosexuals, rather than the public affirmation that marriage is between a man and a woman...The networks covered Prop. 8 heavily between Nov. 5 and Nov. 9, the five days after Election Day. In a total of 13 network news stories, only four supporters of traditional marriage appeared on air, compared to 15 opponents. Only one story, a package aired on ABC's Nov. 9 Good Morning America, noted that Proposition 8 passed by a half-million votes....No network stories discussed the moral and societal implications of changing the definition of marriage, nor did the networks allow any supporters to provide a detailed defense of Proposition 8."

Other Political Media Bias

Media, McCain Ignored Key Issues-"Conservative values still resonate with the public. Obama ran to the right of McCain on social and fiscal issues, and the media ignored the contradictions to his record....The pundits are already at it, saying that conservatism is dead. But Barack Obama and Joe Biden were elected in large part because they managed, in the face of all evidence, to run to the right of McCain-Palin.
Obama-Biden pretended they weren’t much different from social conservatives. In fact, they didn’t look much different from fiscal conservatives, either, and played the bogus “tax cut” card better than McCain. They got away with it for two reasons:
1) The McCain-Palin campaign was so busy being Democrat Lite “mavericks” that they refused to raise issues that would have given voters a stark moral choice.
2) The media were happy to ignore the disconnect between the Obama rhetoric and his radical policies and associates. They had the perfect excuse: If the McCain campaign doesn’t make an issue of these things, why should we?"

Late Night Comics’ Jabs Heavily Favored Obama-"Study finds that Leno and Letterman monologues made GOP ticket butt of jokes 7-1 over Democratic ticket."

ABC, NBC Repeat Anonymous Rumors Discrediting Palin-"No acknowledgement that McCain campaign staffers may be scrambling to hang the blame for his defeat on the vice-presidential nominee."

Congratulations to Obama and to America for our first African-American president. This is historic and telling of Americans....

Congratulations to McCain for enduring probabily one of the toughest elections in history. The odds were quite stacked up against a Republican Presidential victory and so is telling of a great American war hero fighting for those conservative Republican principles....

May the LORD bless both with wisdom as they take their positions in office this and next year.

I Timothy 2:1-6 - "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."

And

1 Peter 2:11-25-"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls."

Pro-Life

The unborn lost on all 4 ballot initiatives this election. Lost parental involvement in California, lost the right to live except in cases of rape, incest and life of the mother in South Dakota and lost the ability to be defined as human in Colorado.

Disappointing Night for Pro-Life Americans-"Advancing a culture of life never was a short-term project, and it will continue despite Barack Obama’s “extreme” position on abortion, a pro-life group said on Wednesday. Dr. Charmaine Yoest, president and CEO of Americans United for Life, congratulated Obama on his election victory. She also reminded him that during the course of his campaign, he and his surrogates “argued for ‘common ground’ on abortion rights.” Yoest noted that Obama promised Planned Parenthood that his first act as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), a proposed law that would nullify virtually all federal and state limitations on abortion, including partial-birth abortion.....Election Day brought several other disappointments for pro-life Americans: A South Dakota ballot measure that would have outlawed most abortions in the state was defeated, and Colorado voters rejected a measure that would have defined a fertilized egg as a human being. In California, a measure requiring parental notification before terminating a minor’s pregnancy was defeated."

Fr. Frank: Americans don't share Obama's "extreme and offensive views" on abortion-"There will be a conference call tonight at 9p EST of national pro-life leaders reflecting on the presidential race. Sign up to join in the call here. Following is a statement by Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life with which I fully concur....Americans have made a grave mistake in electing Barack Obama to the presidency....The man elected to the Presidency said during the campaign that he does not know when a human being starts to have human rights. How can one govern from that starting point of ignorance? Governing is about protecting human rights; to do it successfully, you have to know where they come from, and when they begin....The American people do not share Barack Obama's extreme and offensive views on abortion. They never have and they never will. The coming 4 years will see a widening gap between the people and their President on this fundamental issue. As Americans come to know how extreme his position is, the intensity of the struggle to protect these children will only increase....It is all right to be disappointed at the end of an election season, but one must never walk away."

Same Sex Marriage

Cspan has named ballot initiatives defining marriage as between and a man and a woman in California, Florida, and Arizona as winners and in Arkansas a ban on adoption to single parents was passed. So traditonal family values at the parental and marital level all won!!!

So bitter and sweet was this election cycle on ballot initiatives. There is some exciting upcoming news concerning these issues. Stay tune....

Morning Bell: Congratulations, President-Elect Obama-From the conservative Heritage Foundation with some encouraging observations for conservatives, also.

But first, check out these must view voter guides, videos and concerns at Party Platform comparison and many more voter guides for Presidential race, Congressional races and Ballot Initiatives!!

William Wilberforce and his allies boycotted sugar at one time because of the link between sugar production and slavery. This election has made it clear where Big Media's (CBS, NBC, ABC and PBS) heart is on the issue of the unborn. Their heart is as silent as the voice of the unborn when there lives are taken from them and it's not right!!! To say it in unjust politically correct terms concerning the statement "it's not right". From a pro-life perspective it's much worse then not right it's taking a side on the issue with no equal coverage. In other words an unjust attack on "the least of these" in our society, the unborn. The only time Big Media makes it an issue is in defense of Obama's voting record or in offense toward the McCain's/Palin's. God can not be happy with Big Media reporting on this issue. I believe this election has, as the anti-slavery movement, given for just reason to boycott the networks and move over to something new until they 1) take the issue up and 2) when they do justice to both sides of the issue and 3) rely upon the American people to make the right choice rather then journalistic ideological/political commentaries!!!! I believe if Big Media was as onesided against the anti-slavery movement in Wilberforce's day, he too would be considering a voluntary boycott of those from his side see Denver Post vs the legacy of William Wilberforce, other christians and the unborn.

Secondly, think about this, Studies: No Doubt About It: All But Fox News Tipping Obama's Way, If Only Journalists Voted: Presidents Mondale, Dukakis, Kerry..., and 96% of Slate Staff to Vote for Obama; 55 Obama to One for McCain.

Click on those articles to find that FoxNews is more balanced then Big Media!!! 1) FoxNews does report on the issues of abortion and 2) allows both side's point of view on their network!!!

If you ever have a chance to watch Hannity and Colmes it's a model of fairness and balance!!! Here you have Hannity a conservative and Colmes a liberal democrat that asks questions of their guest (which are sometimes republican or conservative and sometimes democrat or liberal guests) that would be real questions each side would like to ask in the phrasing they desire and then the guest gets to respond and further follow questions are made and then you the American gets to decide!!!!! That is a balanced show and fair to the two sides and respectful of the intelligence of the American public!!! A must view show!!! Here is a 5 and a half minute segment of a show in which 1) Hannity and Colmes took up the issue of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act and abortion survivor Gianna Jessen ad calling on Obama to vote for protections for babies that survive an abortion. So 1) good job to Hannity and Colmes for taking up an issue that many are concerned about!!! 2) Good job to this shows balance and fairnes for this show allowed a conservative view on this issue to be presented and then the liberal side!!! And 3) this is typical of this show on Fox and is a model for others and seems to be the best way to portray your network as fair and balanced to the American public without insulting the intelligence of the public nor relying upon the ignorance of the American public.

Watch it here at" BornAliveTruth.org introducing Gianna Jessen, the first abortion survivor to be featured in new television ad.. You will need to scroll down till you see the first YouTube video. That is how it should be done and that is why FoxNews is the #1 watched cablenews program and can claim that it is indeed more fair and balanced then all Big Media!! As is confirmed by above independent non-partisan study and multitudes of studies are coming out confirming this!!!

But lastly, back to another point to be made about the above studies that show a very lopsided ideological background of a majority of journalists in Big Media. This may be one of the reasons why Big Media is unfair toward the unborn but also, gives us more reason to boycott because then our viewership of Big Media is not only going to a Media outlet that is unsupportive and quite the opposite of the unborn but also, to a Media that is probabily giving their money from our viewership over to politicians that are not supportive of the unborn either. So it is a double wammy on the unborn and to add a triple wammy that these journalist that we are feeding by supporting their horrid journalism in viewing their shows are also, not only probabily giving money and bias coverage for their party but are in no doubt VOTING for these candidates!!! So Big Media has Big if not Bigger links then the sugar industry ever had of slaves. So I sum up my argument for a Big Boycott of Big Media, using William Wilberforce and the anti-slavery movement in example and the Big Connections that Big Media have to preventing care for the unborn and treating them as if they are not alive and a non-issue!!!

And lastly, would Jesus support such a onesided industry???!!! I think it's a fair question. He would probabily do more then boycott like give his life so that another may live but if one is not willing to sacrifice a little unfair coverage and focus of issues and simply vote for the unborn at the sacrifice of a theoretically political possible benefit to themselves then how can one say he/she would play the part of a good samaritan anywhere else if a thought out carefully laid out and elogent argument/excuse arose for a reason not too!!!

For those of us who are aware of the Big Meda bias against the unborn I think we can make a difference by bringing awareness of the Big Media stumbling block to the unborn and band together for a boycott. I am a noboby but who knows that maybe somebody who is a somebody catches a wiff and/or many of us nobodies come together to form a boycott and make ourselves a somebody for a cause to glorify the God of life and the one who laid down his own life for infinitely less worthy one's that maybe this issue can kill two birds with one stone 1) the taking of the lives of the unborn the most innocent beings of our society and 2) the salvation of many who have been involved in this sin and for all of us who have fallen short of the glory of God ourselves including those in Big Media, Presidents, Congressman and all of us nobodies that have not played the part of the good samaritan on behalf of the unborn and have just walked on by on the otherside!!! We all need God's grace as is plain and clear to any objective observer. No one individual is any better or worse then any other without God except God Himself and so as Christ laid down His perfect sinless life for our quite the contrasting and opposite lives, so must we extend that same love God extended to us to those who claim the right to take the lives of the unborn and to the unborn themselves before God says enough is enough or before one dies in his/her sin!!!

Remembering that it is never right for people to act vengefully for as God says "vengeance is mine". It is not ours. Our's is to love our enemy and turn the other cheek and pray for those who persecute you winning our enemies over with love as Roe of Roe vs Wade was see Testimony of Roe of Roe vs Wade!!! Encouraging the public to make a good samaritan vote for the right to life for the more then stripped out samaritan on the side of the road but the unborn's blood that's being shed inside of that which is to be the road to a safe entry into the outside world the hospital, family planning clinics and the womb!!! Just because they do a good job in hiding and cleaning up the mess much like Big Media does doesn't mean we have a right to ignore it and leave it unexposed!!! Innocent blood is being shed and maybe it's caught before it hits the ground or cleaned up so professionally so instead of the blood of the Abel's of our world crying out from the ground today the blood is crying from wombs, hospitals and family planning clinic bins!!!

I do apologize for my bad grammar and any offensive language but it is done in love for both the unborn, those of us who have not been the good samaritan and those who have been involved in anyway with abortion. With love and not hate for all involved not leaving one out of loves grasp may this blog be received!!!

Also, "Obama's Abortion Train Wreck-"The pro-life Susan B. Anthony List group is going for a little shock and awe in an abortion mailer they're sending out about Barack Obama's record on the subject. The mailer shows a baby carriage on the railroad tracks. View it here. According to the group, the mailer is being sent out to "over half a million identified pro-life voters in battleground states: Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Colorado."-There has been so much grassroots efforts like this one that is sending a powerful message to many this election. No matter what the outcome of this election one of those outcomes will be more awareness and coverage and concern for the unborn!!! And if the most pro-abort president nominee in history becomes president you can bet it will continue without the aide of Big Media as it has already begun!!! And if McCain wins you can bet Roe vs Wade is on it's way to being overturned with momentum!!! Either way we know God has a plan!!!

The Born Alive Infants Protection Act should have protected him but didn't. State and federal prosecutors failed him. Clinic workers went so far as to turn away EMTs at the mill door who the mother had called to help her baby. Now a short movie has been made of that tragedy, 22 Weeks. Here's the trailer..."

The video is done by a US Senate candidate and so the campaign ad could not be censored from TV and actually shows aborted babies!!! YouTube yanked the video so I reposted it in below post about Eduardo. And also the unborn get more publicity..."Coming in a newspaper near you: Hype-"I blogged in July on the movie, Hype:The Obama Effect, which includes an interview with me on Barack Obama's opposition to Born Alive.Reported the Associated Press yesterday: Readers of OH's 3 largest newspapers, along with papers in FL and NV, are finding an anti-Barack Obama DVD in editions this week. Citizens United, a conservative advocacy group based in Washington, plans to release a 95-minute film in the five swing-state publications to highlight Obama's record on abortion rights, foreign policy and his past associations.... A must read article below concerning Eduardo endorsement and note the individual at the end of the article." And are we not getting tired of this excuse again again for not banning Partial Birth Abortion. Even though Partial Birth Abortion is banned at the Federal level at the state level it may be different. It doesn't fully make sense yet. But here is a telling article: "Court Rehears Partial–Birth Abortion Ban Case-"On Tuesday, October 28, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, whose jurisdiction includes North Carolina, held an 80–minute hearing on the constitutionality of Virginia’s partial birth abortion ban. The Partial Birth Infanticide Act was passed into law in 2003. It outlaws the abortion procedure known as partial birth abortion and carries a felony penalty of up to 10 years in prison. The law has already been struck down by a three-judge panel of the appellate Court twice since the Center for Reproductive Rights brought the suit on behalf of Richmond Medical Center. Originally, in 2005, the statute was struck down because, in the Court’s opinion, it posed an undue burden on a woman’s right to an abortion. In 2007, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the similar federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 in Gonzales v. Carhart and remanded the Virginia case to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals for reconsideration in light of the upheld federal statute....In September, Americans United for Life filed a legal brief in support of Virginia’s ban."-Bear in mind that no other country in the word allows this procedure but apparently some believe it poses an undue burden on a woman's right to an abortion and her Dr as in the case of Obama. In this post is the actual recorded audio of Obama arguing against a provision that would protect babies that survived an abortion. Listen to him for yourself!!!

Also, U.S. birth rates up...more pro-life?-"A human rights activist and author says after years of a sagging birthrate, the U.S. has once again climbed above the all-important replacement birth rate. Steve Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute, recently he completed work on his latest book -- Population Control: Real Costs, Illusionary Benefits. As previously reported by OneNewsNow, Mosher says due to years of voluntary birth control, the native European population is dying off. But he says fortunately that is not the case in the United States. "The good news is that we have now gotten back up to 2.1 children [per family], which is what you need for what is called 'replacement rate fertility'...We dropped below replacement when abortion was legalized in this country, and so for almost 40 years we've been below replacement rate fertility -- 1.8 children, 1.9, 2.0 -- and now we're back up to two-point-one."

Religion, Politics and Big Media Bias admitted by Big Media and Hollywood

Health care a civil right? Redistribution of wealth? A liberal paper endorsing McCain in a Blue State?-"Obama will REDISTRIBUTE THE WEALTH to his Abortion Cronies-"Obama recently told Joe the Plumber that he believes in "spreading the wealth around." If someone works hard and dreams about owning a business which employs people, Obama would punish success with higher tax rates. Obama justifies this by claiming he will help people from the "bottom up" by spreading other people's wealth around. (Note that his running mate, Joe Biden, lives in a $3 million dollar home and gave just over $3,000 to charity. They'll "help people" as long as it's not their own money.) In light of the audio clip that surfaced on October 26, 2008, where Obama said it was a "tragedy" that the Supreme Court did not pursue redistribution of the wealth, this is particularly timely....He will make YOU, the taxpayer, pay for people's abortions (he has voted for taxpayer funding for abortion in the Illinois State Senate). He will send federal tax money to foreign abortion promoters by repealing the Mexico City Policy. Will he help the poorest of the poor? No. He will give more of our money to have them aborted! He will redistribute the wealth to already rich abortion cronies. The Kansas Coalition for Life has prepared a short video (00:01:28) discussing Obama's redistribution of the wealth plans when it comes to abortion. We recommend that you pass it along to anyone who might be leaning towards voting for Obama." and check this out...Hell is Freezing Over-"This is news: one of the most liberal, left-leaning newspapers, in one of the top 5 Bluest States...has just endorsed John McCain for President: The Connecticut Post. I'll say it again: The Connecticut Post."-An excellent article to give to reason with those who lean liberal!!!

New Pastor Wright ad. Heritage calls on Obama to pull false ads. Obama's Big Money versus grassroots.-Check out a video report on Pastor Wright's house and a new campaign ad reminding the public of Obama's connection with Wright and other reports of interest concerning campaign financing and a comparison between Obama and McCain on that issue. Remembering the public that Obama broke promise to use public funding with McCain. Also, Obama called on to correct campaign ad that misrepresented them. Also, "Media bias against media bias-"Is there a media bias against media bias? Lets put it another way, is it possible that even when a member of the media elite admits to media bias that others in the media refuse to even talk about it? That question was raised recently by John Fund in his story in Political Diary. Two weeks ago there was a major conference in New York sponsored by TIME magazine and CNN. One of the speakers was Mark Halperin, an editor-at-large for TIME and co-author of the campaign field guide, "The Way to Win."During his panel discussion, Mr. Halperin was asked if the media has been too soft on Senator Barack Obama....It seems that even when someone in the media elite admits to the fact that political coverage of a campaign has been biased, other biased reporters refuse to report it."

Orson Scott Card (Democrat who is also, highly critical of the free-market and capitalism) writes a powerful argument and telling piece!!! Must read!!-"Hollywood Blasts Media Coverage of Election?-"Yesterday many television executives attended a Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors at the Beverly Hills Hotel titled "Hollywood, America and Election '08." This would not normally be a newsworthy item to me, except for the fact that many attendees criticized the way the media has covered the presidential election." And more political stuff.

Same Sex Marriage

ABC News and Orlando Sun-Sentinel report that Obama minority black voters may help pass marriage amendments in California and Florida!!!-"In this historic presidential election year, political observers say high voter turnout for Democratic frontrunner Barack Obama — who is predicted to draw record numbers of church-going African Americans and Latinos — may spell the demise of legal gay marriage in California."-Bear in mind that California isn't going to vote McCain anyways!!! "NAACP Los Angeles President Alice Huffman Sells Out Black Families-"Campaign finance records reveal that Alice Huffman, President of the California State NAACP, the only major African American leader in California to endorse legalized gay marriage, has received nearly $200,000 from the NO on 8 campaign in “fees” through her company AC Public Affairs...African American leaders throughout California were shocked when Huffman, as a member of the NAACP Board, endorsed the No on 8 campaign despite the statewide, unified voices of African American political and religious leaders in support of traditional marriage....Trina Williams, Vice President of Inglewood’s NAACP Chapter, said today that...“Alice Huffman has used her position without support of the vast majority of African American people and interfaith leaders in our communities in Los Angeles or California. It is very disappointing and misleading to say that she is representing the African American community or the NAACP, which is and has always been passionately in support of traditional marriage and traditional families...African American voters formed the largest supportive voting block for traditional marriage when it was on the ballot in California in 2000. Political experts anticipate that the African American vote will weigh in heavily on Tuesday, November 4th, thanks to the candidacy of Barack Obama. YES on Proposition 8 expects the turnout to be very helpful to its campaign." Not only in California but in Florida the marriage amendment must pass with a 60% majority vote which is not easy. But..."Florida: “Analysts: Blacks could tilt state vote on gay marriage ban”-"The Orlando Sun-Sentinel reports: “Barack Obama’s presidential candidacy may give foes of gay marriage the edge they need to get a ban added to the state constitution. Backers of the proposal are certain Obama helps their cause, and some independent analysts and amendment foes think they’re right.” Visit:http://www.yesonmarriage.com/"-But unlike California Florida is a key state for McCain!!!
Also, in this blog:

"Calif. Prop 8 supporters raise $5 million in one week-"One week after issuing a plea for donations, supporters of a constitutional marriage amendment have surpassed their goal -- raising more than $5 million -- although it remains to be seen whether it will be enough. Frank Schubert, campaign manager for ProtectMarraige.com, the main group behind Proposition 8, sent an e-mail to in-state and out-of-state supporters Oct. 23 warning that unless the campaign raised $3 million "in the next week, we're going to lose." Since that day and through Wednesday's figures posted on the California secretary of state's website, the campaign has raised $5.2 million, bringing the total for the month to $7.45 million. The figures include only donations of $1,000 and larger. Schubert's plea came as opponents of the amendment were enjoying an influx of money from various groups. Prop 8 opponents have raised $14.68 million this month -- double what supporters have hauled in -- including $4.3 since Oct. 23. Included in that mix for October was a $1 million donation from the California Teachers Association, $1 million from the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Services Center and $100,000 from talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Additionally, opponents brought in $4 million at a Hollywood fundraising event."

The Call California. Same Sex Marriage debate in California reveals hypocrisy!!-"Yes: Other side's hypocritical argument-"It is simply amazing how the "No on Prop. 8" campaign is unwilling to stand up for what it believes. For a week now the campaign has said one thing; yet it believes something else. What do I mean? Well, the "No on Prop. 8" campaign maintains that, if Proposition 8 fails, kids will not be exposed to same-sex marriage instruction in school; yet it maintains that gay marriage is a fundamental right. Huh? If gay marriage is a fundamental right, then it should be taught in school. Can you think of another fundamental right that is not taught in school?", YES ON 8 CHALLENGES SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION JACK O’CONNELL TO LIVE DEBATE-"The Protectmarriage.com – Yes on 8 campaign today challenged Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell and the No on 8 campaign to a live, televised debate this weekend so voters can learn the truth about the issue of gay marriage being taught in California public schools.", California’s fight over marriage hints at changes in the culture wars-"The Economist reports: “Proposition 8’s supporters have assembled an extraordinarily broad coalition. Although much of the campaign’s ideological heat comes from evangelicals, much of its money comes from Mormons. More donations to Protectmarriage.com, the initiative’s chief proponent, have come from Utah than from any other state except California. Orthodox Jewish synagogues have weighed in, too. It is an unusual movement indeed that unifies blacks, Mormons and orthodox Jews. It hints at how cultural conservatives might evolve to meet the challenge of an unfavourable Washington political climate in the next few years.

Will same sex relationships be encouraged in public schools with no opt out option for parents if same-sex marriage is legal?-"New You Tube Video Clarifies Yes On 8 Proponents' Concerns: Education and Protection of Children is at Risk-"Proposition 8 preserves the rights of parents to decide what lifestyle choices are taught to their children and protects children. The absence of the words “between a man and a woman” which were deleted from our laws this past May by the California Supreme Court, has provided an opening for gay activists to force their agenda of sexual orientation education into our public schools. A new video available on http://protectmarriage.com/ and on YouTube through the following link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5qdOQ-yzFU clarifies the issues at stake. This new video shows an actual “pledge” card that 5-year olds were compelled to sign in the Faith Ringgold Elementary kindergarten last week. It commits them to protect and defend gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender relationships. Parents who challenged the teacher were not permitted to “opt out” of this instruction."

Colorado

ADF: Lawsuit challenges $18 million in contracts awarded to Colo. abortionists-"Alliance Defense Fund attorneys and allied attorneys filed suit Wednesday, asking a Colorado court to cancel $18 million in illegal state contracts awarded over the last year to a Planned Parenthood affiliate and a Boulder abortion provider.
“Public officials cannot toss aside the democratic process and the rule of law,” said lead counsel and ADF-allied attorney Barry Arrington of the Arvada law firm Arrington & Associates, P.C. “The governor and other state officials are not at liberty to ignore the will of the people on this matter. Colorado voters amended the state constitution to prohibit tax dollar subsidies to abortion providers.”
The lawsuit, filed on behalf of Colorado taxpayer Mark Hotaling, contends that five contracts which Gov. Bill Ritter and the executive director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Jim Martin, awarded to two abortion providers unconstitutionally use taxpayer funds to subsidize abortion.
In 1984, Colorado voters approved the Abortion Funding Prohibition Amendment to the Colorado Constitution, which prohibits the direct or indirect use of public funds to pay for abortion. In 2001, the Health Department, under then-Executive Director Jane Norton, conducted an audit of the operations of Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood and its affiliate Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Services Corporation. The department ended funding for Planned Parenthood after finding that it indirectly subsidized the abortion operations of its subsidiary....The complaint filed with the District Court for the City and County of Denver, Colorado, in Hotaling v. Ritter is available at www.telladf.org/UserDocs/HotalingComplaint.pdf."

Colorado Amendment 48 for Personhood on Abortion Trails Big in New State Poll-" A new poll of Colorado voters finds Amendment 48, the measure to define unborn children as persons from the moment of conception under state law, trailing by a large margin. A new Rocky Mountain News/CBS4 survey finds the measure, which could prohibit abortions, losing 68 to 27 percent.
Of the 68 percent of Colorado voters who say they oppose the measure, a strong 61 percent say they will "definitely" oppose the amendment.
Pollster Lori Weigel told the newspaper that the polling data makes it appear there is little hope for Amendment 48 to win next week.
"Once a ballot measure falls under 50 percent support, it is very difficult to turn around that dynamic," Weigel said. "For this ballot measure, this is not a hole to dig yourself out of, it's a chasm."
Kristi Burton, the young woman who spearheaded the efforts to get the personhood measure on the ballot -- by turning in a large group of 130,000 petitions to do so -- told the News she thinks the poll isn't a reflection of what will happen on Election Day.
"I've heard different information from different people involved in past efforts," she said. "Sometimes, polls don't accurately represent what the numbers will be on Election Day. That's when we'll learn what the truth really is."

McCain vs Obama IN THEIR OWN WORDS:

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Barack Obama's speech to Planned Parenthood

vs

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: John McCain's speech to National Right to Life

I’m not Voting for a Man, I’m Voting for Generations of Children and their Right to Live-"The Randy Alcorn Blog carries this post that begins: “Yesterday I received this question in an e-mail from Faith, a godly young woman I respect very much: As a Christian, should we vote for who we think should lead our country solely based on their stance on abortion? I have been thinking about this question and I am having a hard time putting my thoughts into words.”

2.9M Hispanic Voters get Anti-Obama Email from Hispanic Bishop (English Version)-"Randall Terry says: "Bishop Gracida's radio ad is causing a massive uproar and major defection from Obama in the Catholic Community. This may be the first time in American history that an election is determined by Hispanics and a Catholic Bishop."
The letter was sent in Spanish. The following text and audio clip From Catholic Bishop Rene H. Gracida was sent this morning (Friday, October 31) to 2.9 Million Hispanic Voters via email.
Bishop Gracida's ad is running on radio and TV in swing states. Here is the English Translation of the Spanish text that was sent to 2.9 million Hispanic voters.
Dear Friends:
We only have days left before a critical election to elect a new president. In this moment, like no other moment in history, Hispanic votes will decide the future of the United States. That means that we have a great weight of responsibility.
During this election, there are many Catholics who have told the Catholic people that it is ok to vote for Obama for president.
That is simply not true. Unfortunately, it is a lie.
Please, read the words of a beloved Hispanic bishop, Bishop Rene H. Gracida, who has faithfully served the Hispanic Catholics of Florida and Texas.
"I am Bishop Rene A. Gracida, reminding all Catholics that they need to vote in these elections with an informed conscience.
A Catholic cannot say that he/she voted in this election in good conscience if he/she votes for a candidate in favor of abortion.
Barak Hussein Obama is a candidate in favor of abortion
."
This magnificent message of our dear Bishop is available as a radio ad that can be aired on Hispanic radio stations. Click here to listen to this ad. (Haga clic aquí para escuchar este anuncio.) If you are interested in spreading this message to other Hispanic voters and if you want to give us a donation so that other Catholics can listen to Bishop Gracida, please give what you can as soon as possible. Click here to contribute to our cause. (Haga clic aquí para contribuir a nuestra causa.)
When we enter the voting booth, we must not forget that Obama supports the killing of unborn babies even until the day they are to be born. This, in the eyes of God, is murder.
We must not help someone who has the intention of killing babies - especially Hispanic babies. It is a fact that Obama has used our tax dollars to place abortion clinics in Hispanic neighborhoods.
Remember that our loyalty to our Lord Jesus Christ is much more important than any political party.
It is your decision for whom you want to vote. There are many candidates that are against the culture of death, who support life and who love the United States and our people, but as Bishop Gracida said - We cannot vote for Obama with a clear conscience.
Again we ask you to give a gift if you can so that more people can listen to Bishop Gracida’s ad, and we also ask for your prayers for this cause in defense of life.
And we ask you to send this message to your friends and your family.
As Catholics, we understand that we owe everything to our God and our Mother, the Virgin of Guadalupe.
May God bless you and whatever happens, remember the words of Bishop Gracida when you enter the voting booth this Tuesday.
Sincerely,
Norma Nelly Vielma

Catholic pro-lifers: Get ready to rumble and sue this weekend-"Deal Hudson of Inside Catholic reported yesterday that the pro-abortion group Catholics United has sent out an email blast calling on its readers to stop pro-lifers from distributing voter guides before and after Mass this weekend as well as leafletting cars. CU is instead encouraging them to distribute liberal voter guides.
Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life shot a response letter to CU, warning that pro-lifers are prepared to sue, because such circumvention would be a constitutional violation."-Check out the two emails!!!

Back to Colorado

I had a discussion in Taos with a gentlemen who was lead to believe as he gave an example that defining a person from conception would lead to prosecutions of those who had miscarriages and so he was not going to vote that a person is a person from conception forward even though he was pro-life. This article should do much to show that this is only a scare tactic from the opponents of the right for life. I would ask that individual to vote what was is in your conscience and what you know an unborn child to be and let the rest to God!!! Don't be persuaded by the Dr's and Organizations that are against such a definition of a person all the way up to when they are even being partially aborted and in some cases survive an abortion!!! See below article....

Why the States Did Not Prosecute Women for Abortion Before Roe v. Wade-"The political claim—that women were or will be prosecuted or jailed under abortion laws—has been made so frequently by Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and NOW over the past 40 years that it has become an urban legend. It shows the astonishing power of contemporary media to make a complete falsehood into a truism....There are “only two cases in which a woman was charged in any State with participating in her own abortion”: from Pennsylvania in 19111 and from Texas in 1922.2 There is no documented case since 1922 in which a woman has been charged in an abortion in the United States. Based on this record—spanning 50 states over the century before Roe v. Wade—it is even more certain that the political claim that any woman might be questioned or prosecuted for a spontaneous miscarriage has no record in history and will certainly not be the policy of any state in the future."

New Mexico

Group asks IRS to investigate NJ Catholic Bishop and NM church for blasting candidates supporting abortion-"AU’s second press release issued yesterday, New Mexico Church Violated Federal Tax Law With Pro-Republican Sign, Says Americans United, indicates:
Rock Christian Fellowship in Espanola has posted two large photos on its building. One depicts an aborted fetus and has underneath it three last names of Democratic candidates: Obama, Udall and Lujan. (Barack Obama is the Democratic candidate for president, Tom Udall is a candidate for U.S. Senate and Ben Ray Lujan is a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives.)
The other photo is of a healthy baby and has below it three last names of Republican candidates: McCain, Pearce and East"

New Jersey

New Jersey Quality Inn, Clarion Hotels Give Women Discounts for Abortions-"Women heading to New Jersey for abortions are getting discounts at two brand name hotels and pro-life advocates are working to expose the practice. An abortion business in Cherry Hill that does abortions up to six months into pregnancy worked out the discounts with two local hotels. New Jersey Right to Life indicates that participants in the local 40 Days for Life prayer campaign have learned that the Cherry Hill Women's Center made the arrangements. The Clarion Hotel in Cherry Hill offers a reduced rate of $59 for a room originally priced at $109 to women staying there from out of town to get an abortion. Women need only show a receipt from the abortion business saying an overnight stay is necessary. In addition, the Quality Inn in Maple Shade offers a discounted rate of $74.95 for a room originally priced at $99.99 and a free breakfast of eggs and pancakes for women who present a stamped pamphlet from the abortion center."

New Jersey Hotels Stop Giving Discounts to Abortion Business Customers-"After a LifeNews.com story exposing the practice, two New Jersey hotels have reportedly stopped giving discounts to women who patronize a local abortion business. An abortion center in Cherry Hill that does abortions up to six months into pregnancy worked out the discounts with two local hotels.
New Jersey Right to Life brought the practice to light and indicated that local pro-life advocates learned that the Cherry Hill Women's Center made the arrangements."

Mexico

Sonora becomes second Mexican state to pass law protecting unborn-"CNA reports: “By a vote of 27-5, the Sonora State Congress in Mexico amended the state’s constitution and enshrined protection of human life from conception to natural death, closing the door to legal efforts to expand abortion . . . "

Nicaragua

Nicaragua Pressured on Abortion by the UN Human Rights Committee-"In Geneva last week Nicaragua came under fire for its laws protecting the unborn. Members of the Human Rights Committee (HRC) – the treaty body that monitors implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) – repeatedly grilled the Central American nation for outlawing abortion as Nicaragua presented its third periodic report detailing progress in implementing the treaty.
Nicaragua banned all abortion in 2006 and rejected a “therapeutic” abortion amendment last year. In advance of the hearing, the HRC sent Nicaragua questions concerning its abortion law and rates of maternal mortality, which Nicaragua addressed in its report. “Experts” on the Committee also had the opportunity to pose questions.
Among the queries was how, if Nicaragua were a “secular state,” a ban on abortion could be reconciled with secularity. The delegation responded by pointing out that though the state is secular, the “social reality” is that 90 per cent of the country’s 5.6 million people profess Christianity, implying that the laws reflected the value choices of a majority of Nicaraguans. The delegates added that if there came a time when a majority desired to change the country’s abortion laws, they could do so via the political process."

Phillipines

International Planned Parenthood and UNFPA Push “Two Child Policy” in Philippines-"In their attempt to globalize their anti-life agenda, International Planned Parenthood, along with other international pro-abortion groups like the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has fixed its sights on the Philippines. The Filipino legislature is contemplating a comprehensive reproductive health bill that, among other things, threatens to legalize abortion in the predominantly Catholic Asian nation.
So far, UNFPA has doled out $26 million to advance its agenda in the Philippines through the Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development (PLCPD).
“[The] Act Providing for a National Policy on Reproductive Health, Responsible Parenthood and Population Development and for Other Purposes,” hit the floor of the Philippine Congress for debate in mid-September.
The bill mandates “ideal family size,” which amounts to laying groundwork for a “two-child policy” not unlike China’s infamous “one-child” counterpart. It also provides for up to six months imprisonment and high fines for noncompliance.
Filipino Family Fund (FFF) President Eileen Macapanas Cosby finds the UNFPA-driven bill unsalvageable and believes pro-life Filipinos (and pro-life Americans in solidarity) should fight to kill the bill outright."

Scotland

Scotland to get first private abortion clinic-"The Scotsman reports:
SCOTLAND is to get its first private clinic specialising in “late-term” abortions because the NHS cannot cope with the hundreds of women requesting the controversial procedure . . .
Most cases involved women who wanted a termination for so-called social reasons where they did not want to give birth . . .
The revelation, which comes in the wake of a failed bid by MPs to relax Britain’s abortion laws, has sparked furious opposition from the Catholic Church and pro-life groups . . ."

Check out Eduardo's video at http://www.obamamustsee.com/. There is a pre-warning and they give you the option to click to fast forward past some graphic images of aborted babies. A must read article below concerning Eduardo endorsement and note the individual at the end of the article.

Here is another video of a campaign ad that aired in Chicago and yanked from YouTube. This is historic cause for the first time that I am aware of, aborted baby pictures are aired on regular TV in the state of Illinois and the networks can do nothing about it cause it is protected since it is an ad done by a campaigner. Hats off to the Constitution party!!! It's providential that this ad is airing in a Senate race in Illinois which is Obama's home political state. Aborted babies finally getting a chance to speak up for themselves!!! For those who have committed an abortion this may be hard viewing I would refer you to be mindful that if God forgave the Roe of Roe vs Wade He can in Christ forgive you also!!! (See Testimony of Roe of Roe vs Wade)

Pro-Life Latino Star Endorses McCain, While Other Latinos Say Obama’s ‘Pro-Life’-"A Latino superstar has endorsed Sen. John McCain for president, citing Sen. Barack Obama’s pro-abortion record, while some Latinos say they are supporting Obama because they believe he is “pro-life.”
Eduardo Verastegui, the Latino actor whose pro-life film “Bella” won the 2006 Toronto Film Festival People’s Choice Award, has produced a new video detailing Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s record on abortion, which includes his opposition to a ban on partial birth abortion and his opposition in the Illinois state Senate to legislation aimed at protecting babies who survive botched abortions.
Verastegui’s pro-life views have been criticized by some Latino blogs, and the original version of his video was pulled by YouTube.com....
Also, Verastegui’s outspoken opposition to same-sex marriage has been denounced by homosexual activists, including Mexico’s homosexual soccer club “Tri Gray.” They publicly ridiculed the popular actor from the offices of Mexico’s secretary of health on Oct. 22.
Nonetheless, at a rally in Colorado earlier this month, Verastegui said he wanted to reach out to Latino voters by endorsing GOP presidential candidate John McCain.“I am endorsing McCain for president because of his commitment to end abortion, protect traditional marriage and reform immigration fairly,” Verastegui said....“If a president is not willing to defend the most innocent of his own country, the babies in their mothers’ wombs, then my question is this, ‘Who is he willing to defend?’” Verastegui says in the video. “That’s what inspired me to put this video together.”
In addition to detailing Obama’s pro-abortion record, the video, available in both Spanish and English, includes graphic footage of abortions and a message from Verastegui asking for people “to fight for those without a voice.”...“We need to put an end to abortion, and political candidates play a very important role in this matter,” Verastegui said at the rally. “More than 200,000 Latino babies were killed by abortion each year in the USA. This holocaust must end.”“That’s why we must elect John McCain,” said Verastegui. “He will defend and protect the most innocent of his country, the beautiful babies in their mothers’ wombs.
Verastegui, 34, was born in northern Mexico and got his start singing with the pop group Kairo and acting in Mexican soap operas. A devout Catholic, Verastegui attends Mass daily and recently participated in 40 Days for Life in Los Angeles where he joined other pro-life activists who are praying until Nov. 2 in front of family planning facilities that perform abortions.“I was counting all the women lined up for an abortion,” Verastegui said about the Los Angeles event in an interview with freelance writer Anita Crane. “It was all Latinas and African-Americans. “And I said all I want to do here is share with you a video on the hard truth about what is going on inside (that place). And you know what? By the grace of God, four babies were saved this morning,” he said....“Most of the registered Latinos who are voting are voting for Obama,” Verastegui said. “Why is that? He doesn’t represent our values: respect for life, traditional marriage or even immigration reform.” Two Latino activists in the Washington, D.C., area, however, disagreed with Verastegui. "That's just not true," Roxana Olivas, a Washington, D.C., resident who describes herself as pro-life and is voting for Obama told CNSNews.com. "If there is someone who shows the sanctity of life, it's Obama.""

A pro-life president would not smear an abortion survivor. See http://www.bornalivetruth.org/. He would rather platform her as an example to be made of rather then smear her!!! Nor would he smear the pro-life community which is one of the biggest supporters of reducing abortions and bringing awareness to this issue see Obama caught smearing the pro-life community on video and yet claims to understand and respect our views!!! Re-enter Jeremiah Wright and Obama's Church.

From JillStanek.com

Jill Stanek is the very nurse that testified before Obama concerning infants born that survived an abortion. Obama says today that he didn't support the protections because there were laws already in place. This is not what Obama argued originally. For more on this you must consult http://www.jillstanek.com/. She is well documented and if you are going to be fair to both sides of the issue don't just accept Obama's at face values!!! Be fair to Jill and give her a read and then determine for yourself whether or not a vote for Obama is a pro-life vote!!! I would suggest any reader to subscribe to her blog even if you disagree just so that you are getting the otherside of the story from a great competent source.

Breaking news: Audio of Obama's speech against Born Alive found-"In 2001, then IL state Sen. Barack Obama ,for the 2nd year in a row, was the sole person opposing Born Alive Infant bills on the state senate floor.
Audio of senate floor debates is destroyed when transcripts are written. Until now, only the Chicago Tribune was known to have audio of this debate but had only released a very small clip.
But we now have it. A reader requesting anonymity sent it to me. Thanks to moderator Chris for making a YouTube video, accentuating Obama's talking points and irrationality...

In the audio, Obama argues against calling for a 2nd physician if the 1st physician - the abortionist - has decided the baby s/he has just aborted alive is non-viable....
Most would recognize the potential for subjective opinion in this case. The abortionist has been paid to kill the baby, and a live birth would indicate s/he botched.
In addition, these babies are often being aborted because the abortionist has stated they are handicapped. A living baby could be evidence the abortionist made a wrong diagnosis.
Barack Obama, a self-professed champion of the little guy and opponent of bullies, in this case argued in favor of trusting the abortionist. The reasons for Obama's trust in the abortion industry are obvious. It gives him $$ and gets him votes. For instance, the abortion lobby, in 2008, promised to spend $30 MILLION for their candidates.
In this audio, Obama utters these infamous words, among many:
"... if that fetus or child - however way you want to describe it - is now outside the mother's womb...."
and
"... but there's, let's say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they're not just coming out limp and dead...."

Breaking news: Parenthood Parenthood admits infanticide-"Students for Life of America has just released video on YouTube (and Eyeblast in the likely event YouTube yanks the video) of a counselor at the Freehold Planned Parenthood in NJ describing the induced labor abortion procedure to a prospective client, so she thinks.
The SFLA press release states:
In the footage, the PP nurse describes to the pregnant woman that the abortion would entail delivering her son alive and, after the woman asks if the baby can be born alive, the nurse admits that "it does happen, but it wouldn't be able to survive on its own so eventually the baby does die."...
As evidenced in the SFLA video, the practice of allowing babies born alive during abortions to die, which is defined as infanticide, is still being practiced today....
[It] further validates the undercover video SFLA obtained of infamous late-term abortionist, George Tiller, in March 2008 stating, "Let's say you have 15 or 16, you had one slip out with a heartbeat; that is not a viable fetus, but that is born alive or has a heartbeat."
Surprising to me was the nurse also stated the 21-week pregnant mother had no other options than induced labor abortion. I have repeatedly said this procedure is much more prevalent than anyone knows, and this nurse's admission indicates it is now even the late-term abortion of choice in some mills.

The SFLA video spotlights Barack Obama's opposition not only to the IL Born Alive Infants Protection Act ,but also providing abortion survivors independent medical assessments."

North Carolina and Virginia

Court Rehears Partial–Birth Abortion Ban Case-"On Tuesday, October 28, the 4th U.S. Carhart and remanded the Virginia case to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals for reconsideration in light of the upheld federal statute....In September, Americans United for Life filed a legal brief in support of Virginia’s ban."
